February 17, 1999 - I had to get my brother his first identity card made. As for the first identity card fathers card details are used & part (B) bears all that information. Fathers card was from Karachi. I was told that this card would be send to Karachi Nadra Office who will issue a N.O.C and a new identity card for our father from Mirpur Azad Kashmir would be issued & then my brother's identity card would be issued. Time limit of about 2 months was explained to me. Outside where the applications were submitted, I talked to the guy there and very scardely handed under the desk 500 Rupees (Green Colour Note). The guy glanced at the note & without looking up said "this job is going to cost me a Blue Note (1000 Rupees). So |I handed him another green note of 500 Rupees. My fathers & Brothers new identity cards were ready for next day which i picked them up at the mirpur office at mid day of 18/02/1999. My first ever Bribe |
